After reading Joe Straitiff a formerly Software Engineer at Electronic Arts Live Journal, it seems that the company is running more of a sweatshop rather then a fun, active place to work. After reading his detailed logs of went on between him and the company, I give a call out to boycott any games developed, produced and/or marketed with EA Games or any of it's affiliates.

I'm trying to find some time to give daily posts and spit out things that are running around in my head, so here I am going to ramble off some stuff.

Jason has moved to Hamilton from being a roommate here to continue his education at Mohawk Collage, all the best luck in your new adventure. At the last minute I took in Scott and his girlfriend. I'm never home anyways.

Thanks goes out to Chris for "Thanking me" for giving him a gmail account. No problem.

Slowly getting things in order, went to Mr. Subs a few days ago, had the sub maker girl recognized me from GCI, not that I remember those years too much. Well other then that I cut back the hours at the store, doing onsite business service while I am off. I got my bedroom finally painted, and carpet layed.

Gave my mother $300 to go to Nova Scotia to visit my grandmother before her birthday, I was going to go down also but a change at the store had stopped me. Well she's back now, and my father went down on this trip. Maybe this summer I'll take Lorna (my sister) down for a week or two.

Hell I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for my mother, my landryroom closes 1 hour I close, giving me no time to do my landry. So thanks Mom for helping me with it.

Well I had a good weekend, other then pissed at working and missed Nicole's Birthday outting, Missed Trevor's 19th birthday, Faye didn't end up comming down, but I did manage to get out to Tammie's birthday and had alot of tequila due to the stress in my life. Simply put I never had so much stress before, even when it seemed I was going threw my mid-life when I was 18 with all those responsibilities.

Sunday went and watched The Butterfly Effect at the theater with the roomate Jay, his girlfriend melissa, her cute friend Ann, and Red... Hey maybe I keep a blog like this for a reson too ;) So rather then painting the bedroom I went the the movies, got talked into watching a few shows that I did despise, football, Survivor All Star, and some Queer Eye for the Straight Guy witch wasn't too bad till the two gave a peck on the lips, that was time to change the channel.

Things I been meaning to do is I gotta find time to finish my living area, it's been 3 months and still I haven't painted nor put the carpeting in the bedroom down, I still have stuff at the parents I mean alot of stuff that still has to come over. I did manage to go threw all my clothing and give what I don't use nor wear to ValueVillage and SallyAnne. I've been thinking about going down to Nova Scotia near the begining of March, but I am just thinking about it for now.

Things that I have to do:
Take out more do nothing time
Attend more educational events
Find time to start dating
Paint/Carpet the bedroom
Find stuff to fill the apartment
Sad isn't it...?

HE GOOD: Had a peaceful holiday, I did nothing besides lay around the parents place, ordered $100 worth of pizza on x-mas eve, opened presents on x-mas day as the sisters boyfriend went on the hunt for an open Tim Hortons. Went to the hospital during that day and brought Jack a x-mas dinner rather then the hospital food. I seem to be closer to my family then I was a a few years ago, I don't know what changed, maybe I grew up.

THE BAD: Bush is a oil whore, SCO doesn't know what they own, I find myself getting all fucked up within the matter of opinions and how fuck up the american politics are, and how much they effect the world. It seems that you have to be a good actor to become an american politician anyways. I'll finish this tomorrow.

Well nothing much new, went to see 54-40 a few weeks ago, still working on the new apartment trying to get it the way I want but have little time to do so. Family members are in the hospital, trying my best to visit and make time for them. Met up with some old friends (HI!), geeking by compiling applications with ICC rather then GCC, and putting together Cambridge Pages again.

I done some work on the page again, nothing much, just got some more stuff working. Moved into a an apartment, and took in a roomie. This is the place where I grew up, taking the time to redo the place the way I want it. Painting, carpeting etc.. gets very costly.

Novell is moving towards alot of linux products, they just bought SuSE with Ximian back in the the summer, so good news for the Linux community. U of W is hosting a Linux InstallFest come January, I will be helping out with Mandrake/Gentoo Installs.

So it seems I haven't done nor fix this site yet, but I'm working alot and I will be moving at the end of this month (2 days?), and I haven't even started packing yet. Halloween Nite going to the fid's and then painting the new place. My server will be down from October 31 till Novemer 1st for the move and upgrades.

Well seem like I got so busy I didn't have time to write here for awhile, got a new accountant this week, seen and old roomie last week, helped out a local actors group with computer stuff. Last week has been like hell, glad it's over. Gave a few friends some webspace, and if I do/did know you give me an email and I'll set you up with free personal webspace.

The parents went to Nova Scotia so I shipped a computer system with them for the Grandmother. Power went out last week "The Backout of 2003" I sat in the back yard, starving because I couldn't cook food, glaring at the stars... it seems at 4am for some strange reson they stars where speaking to me in a weird anamated way, but I must of just been tired, or was it a message someone was trying to give to me? Who knows. But for now I gotta pay the billz and I must smoke.

It seems that maxpro.org's website hit a few magazines back in 2002, so I'm thinking of a new use for it. I may host the WOSS Project off it as well as a newbie fourm for linux help, tips and tricks. I'm not too sure but I'm late... Gotta run!

Opening the Store.

Lots going on, I'm shocked I have time to write this in, the run down of things, opening a new store in Preston, working with alot of clients, making alots of profressional contacts, attended the Real World Linux Expo in toronto at the begining of the month. Sill pushing Linux/Open Source Software, no personal life cept for going ot for Jasons Birthday tonite. Other then that I'm on the run... I'll try to add somthing this weekend!

Busy, busy & more busy....

Well that was a very busy month since I last updated this page, I was deciding to go out tonight... but I'm beat! Anyways did a few DVR Security Camera installs over the last month, seems to be working good. Helped TJ's old friend set up a Point of Sales system for his restaurant since I use to do this for Wendy's, but then it got more into Consulting how to deal with the in's and out's of day to day operation, HR employee payrates/turnover, Fryer setup and training the staff. Great Japanese Restaurant on the north side of Waterloo called Yummyaki, best sesame chicken I ever had. Also moved over a server for an Insurance webhosting company and setup more resent server software along with better security, all of this plus my volenteer work. - Yes I will sleep good tonight.
